Attack on Hazara Girls’ School

At Least 90 School Girls, mostly Hazara, were killed and another 147 people were injured in a targeted suicide bombing attack at Sayed Al-Shuhada Girls High School. A car bomb was detonated in front of the school on Saturday afternoon, and as students rushed out, two more bombs were set off. The area where the blasts happened is home to a large community of Shiites from the Hazara ethnic minority, which has been targeted in the past by Islamic State, a Sunni militant group. Many of them pupils were between 11 and 15 years old.
